Mass Effect: Bring Down The Sky DLC Review (★★★☆☆)
Summary:
Bring Down the Sky is the first downloadable content for BioWare’s epic game Mass Effect. It’s basically a side quest mission that involves the Batarians, and winds up being much shorter than I expected.
Single Player: ★★★☆☆
It should be noted that if you do not yet have access to the Galaxy Map, then you won’t be able to get to this mission. The Batarians have taken over a mining operation on an asteroid and are planning to crash it in to a nearby populated planet. It’s up to you to stop them and save the hostages.
Multiplayer: (N/A)
No Multiplayer.
Graphics: ★★★★☆
Just as pretty as the original game. There were a couple of things that I have not seen in the original game that made me say “that’s pretty cool”.
Control: ★★★★☆
Again, just as responsive as the original game.
Sound/Soundtrack: ★★★★☆
I did not notice anything new here either. It fits the mood nicely.
Overall: ★★★☆☆
I would have liked this to have been a little meatier. I was expecting a more substantial mission like one of the main side quests, say like Feros. Bring Down The Sky no longer than any of the regular planet side-quest missions in the original game. It’s about an hour or two long and ultimately you will have to decide if 400 points is worth it. I don’t think that it is.

50 Gamerscore points.
